Aeromark’s MD is named “Digital Entrepreneur of the Year 2013”

Roger Marks has been awarded the ultimate title of Digital Entrepreneur of the Year 2013 for his role as Managing Director of Aeromark.

The Digital Entrepreneur Awards, which took place at the Manchester Hilton Hotel on 10th October 2013, are the only UK national awards dedicated to internet entrepreneurialism. These prestigious awards are made up of the top internet businesses, digital agencies, entrepreneurs, consultancies, judges and industry gurus.

Roger Marks is the founder of Aeromark which has been the forefront of development “Software-as-a-Service” ( SaaS ) web technology for service businesses since 2000 and last year launched its latest revolutionary software called “Optimatics”.

I’m delighted to win the Award but I am especially pleased for my team who make it all happen. This is not just about creating smart software but how it’s delivered to our customers, ensuring it generates the benefits, that really matters said Roger Marks.

Optimatics incorporates all aspects needed for smart and effective mobile workforce management providing Site, Asset and Contract management, real time automatic scheduling of work, route optimisation, mobile apps and GPS tracking in one simple-to-use Web application. This ground-breaking technology increases productivity whilst at the same time significantly reducing operational costs, delivering net savings and benefits for the customer as high as £1000 per employee per month.

Key to the success of Aeromark is a commitment to re-invest 11% of annual turnover into core R&D which ensures that its technology maintains its leading edge and continues to generate improvements for Aeromark’s customers.

Roger Marks continued, Many see the internet as a source of information, communication, social media or e-commerce, but less identify with the transition towards cloud based business computing which is gaining pace and soon SaaS applications, which have significant functional and cost advantages over traditional ICT deployments, will be the number one choice when replacing business computer systems

Aeromark Optimatics now has many customers in the Facilities Management and Service sectors including Amey, Capita IT, Greggs, Crown Paints, Worcester Bosch and Yo! Sushi.
