However much businesses are attracted to the idea of cheap vehicle tracking, the fact is that a pin on a map is not truly a useful tool for any manager. The vehicle tracking data needs to be seen in true context of the business activity; and management has to be prepared to be transparent about the fact that they are using it as a management tool in order to optimize efficiency and protect drivers.
